Data Deletion Status

If you've requested deletion of your Kuruvi data โ either directly through the app or via Facebook's "Apps and Websites" settings โ you can check the status of your request here.
How to find your confirmation code: When you submit a deletion request through Facebook, you receive a confirmation code that starts with
fbdel_. Paste it below to look up the request status.
What gets deleted
When we process a deletion request, we permanently remove:
- Your Kuruvi account profile (name, email, phone, photo, username)
- All conversations and messages you sent or received
- OAuth tokens for any connected platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Shopify, eBay, YouTube)
- Push notification tokens and device identifiers
- Subscription and billing identifiers (Stripe customer reference)
- Marketplace listings you created
What we may retain (and why)
- Anonymized audit logs โ for fraud detection and security investigations. No personally identifiable information.
- Financial records โ required to be retained for tax purposes (typically 7 years) under US law and EU rules.
- Backups โ overwritten within 30 days.
How long it takes
We initiate deletion within 24 hours of receiving a request and complete it within 30 days. The status above reflects the current state in real time.
Direct deletion (no Facebook needed)
You can delete your account at any time without using Facebook: open Kuruvi โ Settings โ Account โ Delete Account. Or email privacy@kuruvi.com with your account email.
